…and, obviously, if they have a “single payer” system paid for by the government (essentially those who pay the tax roll – which means free healthcare for many)…they are lacking any freedom whatsoever in there healthcare realm

Where did i say we had “more” freedom?

I said…Japan wasnt founded on the concept of freedom or individual liberty; Japan has historically been a nation ruled by an Emporer…in such, you live and die by the Emporers will.

Again, i also stated kudos to Japan for creating a similar government to that of our once, Constitutional Republic…but, they have kept many communist ideas as well

The legality or illegality of firearms is an entirely separate issue from health insurance. Or was the gun ban caused by their health insurance?

Previously in the US, a cop could not pull you over nor search you for whatever reason they deem necessary; now, it is quite the opposite…this is what happens when you strip a nation of its right to protect itself through bearing arms; the nation falls into an autoritarian police state where government bears all rights and the People are granted priveledges from the Government; not Rights…what a way to live, not for yourself…but for society and government…pathetic

That’s irrelevant. You He said that single payer would halt medic innovations and I showed you that it doesn’t have to. Just curious, what freedoms do we have that are sorely lacking in Japan because of their health care system? The freedom of  having to choose between either feeding your children or paying the rent? The freedom of medical bankruptcy? Please, save me your blind patriotism.

Like i said previously…Government intrusion into our lives has been accepted as the norm…income tax = illegal in a free society; yet – we have it. Income tax was used only in a time of war up until 1913; now, it is used to spread the wealth through Medicare/Medicaid/Welfare/Social Security/Subsidies/Etc….all programs, which again, are illegal to a free society, as they confiscate wealth from one and redistribute to another whom is not entitled to one mans labor.

Although, i’ll give it to the Japs for trying to mimic our governmental system; seeing that from 1800 till now it has been the most successful economically and politically…too bad that over the past 80 years or so social programs and intentional misinterpretations of the Constitution have been accepted as the norm, now our system is on the verge of collapse
