What does UnitedHealthcare CEO Stephen Hemsley have to lose if Congress passes real healthcare reform this year? Well, for starters, his nearly three quarters of a billion dollars in unexercised stock options might lose a few pennies on the dollar.
What does Isabella, a four year-old girl in Winsconsin who is physically incapable of eating and has had to be tube fed her entire life, have to gain from healthcare reform? The treatment she needs to live a normal life.
Brave New Films is launching a major new campaign to reveal the truth about the health insurance industry, and we need your help to do it. Contribute $25 today so we can create more campaigns exposing the obscene wealth of the CEOs of Aetna, CIGNA, Humana and WellPoint and the policyholders theyve abandoned for profit.

@miracleneeded u …
@miracleneeded u are so misinformed. the BUsh white house spent spent spent, the DEMs are trying to rein things in without furthering the damages…what the is wrong w/you…you can see past one right turn or something? You can think just one or two steps ahead … does everything have to be a straight line or else you can’t mentally picture the purpose of a bill?

$12 for Tylenol is …
$12 for Tylenol is not the problem. The problem is that you don’t get proper care when you go to the doctor.
New better meds every 12 years they say, but the older meds are often times better than the new stuff.

This bill will help …
This bill will help fight against financial rape of people with insurance. It stops them from not paying for surgeries and raising premiums or dropping you when you get sick.
This is kind of like a do what you said you would do bill. We need it, but we need more too. We will have to add to it as time goes on.

The only thing I …
The only thing I know to do know in response to passage of the bill is to change my W4 exemptions so that the government can’t take my tax refund.
I will then drop my healthcare coverage and save the premiums paying the 2% penalty (cheap at twice the price). I can then signup for healtchare insurance right before I need healthcare (on the way to the hospital if need be). This should halt the increase of my premiums.
This should derail the Pelosi Autocracy from accomplishing their goals.

Well fellow …
Well fellow Ameritards, the country is going to finally make the real jump into the toilet. Another government program that will drive this country further under. If you think this program is not going to cost tons of bucks that we do not have….YOU HAVE DRANK THE DEMORATS KOOL-AID. And worse than health deform is the fact that the Demorats have such momentum, you know what that means…AMMMM-NASTY. More and more areas of this failing country will resemble a TURD WORLD COUNTY, HOPE YOU LIKE IT.

The problem is …
The problem is CONGRESS WILL NOT PASS “REAL” REFORM!! Just more mandating and regulating and spending. Lower premiums by opening up competition! Lower premiums by becoming a moral compass themselves and exposing doctors, nurses, and hospitals that are overcharging in the first place!

AMAZING, if I ran …
AMAZING, if I ran my home like the govern I would not have a home! They keep spending & regulating. It is wrong. it is not about making sure 32 million people have healthcare, it is about making sure that 32 mill have mandated weight & standards placed on them to make more money by charging a $2,250 fine if they do not, more into our freedoms & bus. If they truly wanted to help, they would tell the doctors to quit charging $150 for a ten minute visit & $12 for a tylenol.
April 11th, 2010 at 3:38 am
If anyone truly …
If anyone truly thinks the govt is going to “reform” healthcare, think again! In fact going to regulate your weight, whether or not you eat out & then raise your prem due to that & other standards. Healthcare needs reform, but not by the govt. W/freedom comes responsibility & it starts with our govt. not having $10,000 per plate dinners & suits & dresses, they should be our moral compass &they are not, more regulation &mandates:CRAZY, &the IRS more into our lives. What happened to our liberties?

oh its the big bad …
oh its the big bad corporation
okay nobody likes to point out that the government is at fault for this
100,000 pages of current regulations that right 100,000 pages and that just at the federal level
but what about regulations dont they prevent monopolies , no they destroy new healthcare business to compete tell me who would want to run a healthcare company in this country nobody so youll see abuse by corporations because of the government own fault just like the enron scandal
April 11th, 2010 at 3:38 am
We need a truth …
We need a truth squad armed not with pens, but rifles! CEO’s are nothing more than murderers who hold life and death in their hands.
Will the sick finally pick up the torch and pitchfork or die a slow quiet death ?
Are we waiting for our Government to help us? Don’t hold your breath…it will never happen , they too are paid off scum with health Insurance that is the best in the world…..how did these crooks ever become so important ? The pen is dull while the sword is justice!

Smarter than Obama …
Smarter than Obama and Biden…..but that is not saying much at all.
If everyone was covered for every pre existing condition, the insurance company would fail. You cannot spend more than you make…..unless you are the government. haha

I love my United …
I love my United Healthcare coverage.
Oh and BTW, the insurance industry only makes a 2.5% profit margin. So before you try and scare people with record profits, take an economics course. 2.5% PROFIT MARGIN PEOPLE !
Let me put it too you simple minded. A 2.5% profit margin means you sell a product for $10 and make a profit of 25 CENTS. Now do you really think making a profit of 25 CENTS per $10 is unethical ? Perhaps you should try running a business.

$1,000,000,000,000 …
$1,000,000,000,000 to buy democracy in Iraq, but can´t seem to find a nickel for health care back home.
April 11th, 2010 at 3:38 am
We tax payers seem …
We tax payers seem to have deep pockets when it comes to paying the war profiteers Haliburton, KBR, DynCorp, etc.600+ BILL for the DoD. The hundreds of billions in Iraq/Afghanistan and paying off greedy banks with shifty practices and on and on…but when it comes to returning the money back to the people from which it came for such things as pooling together to offset the cost of health care so it is affordable and accessible to all; OH THAT’S UNACCEPTABLE, that’s looking for a HANDOUT.

It’s been happening …
It’s been happening for decades just look at News Paper and through the internet searches you will find PLENTY of sad stories. I do not want to hear both sides of the story from a group of wealthy who let normal good hard working Americans DIE. For all I care they can be pronounced dead tommorow and be on their way to hell.
April 11th, 2010 at 3:38 am
Free health care is …
Free health care is not REALLY FREE of course it’s paid for through taxes just like your police, fire department, public schools, and ect. Those are all FREE SERVICES that are not really free at all. Free health care is a good thing not a bad thing and if you think it’s wrong to get hard working Americans who can not afford it coverage then you are one up person. I hear Christians arguing against giving the working class and poor care and I ask “What would Jesus do”?
April 11th, 2010 at 3:38 am
These stories are …
These stories are pretty vague, except for the girl with the intestinal problems that at least had a letter. I’d like to see more clear cut proof instead of this (and I hate to say this) “propaganda style” editing. Let me hear both sides of the story in FULL, that’s all I ask. On top of it you want some cash to help you do what is “right”, I say b.s. Do it for free like you want the doctors and insurance companies too.
