They have to be …
They have to be turning private, there’s no alternative. Government run healthcare is a fraud and a farce. It begs for scarcity, overexpenses. Without mentionning how the government is NOTHING BUT a monopoly on violence. you’ll never make me beleive violence can improve my health. That just does not happen. You’ll never make me beleive that not producing, and overpaying for services will bring in ressources, more medication, more services, more health workforce. It’s just not reality.

ok so i am german …
ok so i am german and i can tell you you’re wrong. what changes with our new neo-liberal government now is basically just that poor people will have to pay more cause they won’t pay in relation to their income anymore but and average…
even if we turn a little towards private insurance more now (not in general anyways) we still have the same system, that nakes health care available to everyone and there’s no problem with it, well at least not the problems americans have…

it’s not suppose to …
it’s not suppose to be ” THE ONLY WAY”…USA can afford to give free health care but they chose not to, because the moment they stop it, the politicians will stop recieving their shares..if cuba(3rd world country) can provide free health care, why can’t USA??? Canada and France also have free Health care…USA’s health care system is corrupted..

Pay a lot of money …
Pay a lot of money to the politicians to save a lot more rather than paying millions of insurance owners. Minimize the cost by denying paying for health care and maximize profits by obliging the citizens to buy fraud defective insurance..
November 5th, 2009 at 3:35 am
the same as the ” …
the same as the “FEDERAL POOL” that they “Me and McCain” enjoy..isn’t that the pool which money revolves around the politicians and the insurance companies? the money that people pay to for health insurance in which the health insurance companies pay the politicians to protect them from providing such fraud service to their fellow men?

It will also suck …
It will also suck immigrants in, just for the freebies. And it’s going to push out genius doctors out of the country into less horribly regulated countries. Garanteeing more than the free market does ALWAYS, and i mean ALWAYS cause moral hazard. Government is the monopoly of violence; you can’t heal anyone with violence, directly or indirectly. Canada failed and is turning back to private health industries, so is Germany, and others. What’s with the pro government fanaticism nowdays?

I think you might …
I think you might want to look further into it from a freemarket point of view. I tried to look at it the socialist way, and all it did was scare me even more. If you garantee healthcare, more people will access it than planned. Less people will take care of their own health, because the government does it for them. You’ll only lower the living standards and you won’t realize it because the FDA loves to use bunk statistics. It also forces companies to charge more because of high risk individuals

the involvement of …
the involvement of the goverment ( i mean public healthcare) doesnt influence the price of medicine, it just makes them accessible to more people.
you’re just missing the essence here. anyways the market is dominated by very few huge pharma-copmanies. futhermore how is “choice” reduced? public option or not: you can choose your doctor. in fact in without the public option the choice is even lower, only the rich can choose.

Regulations reduce …
Regulations reduce choice. Choice increase competition. Accountability increases competition, and add a of a lot of risk The fact that you take a every now and then affects the freemarket, proof is, companies make money from making products to wipe your with. Everything uses resources, and everything has a margin of utility. Denying this is denying praxeology. What you fail to see is that you either have the free market, or government involvement (which is nothing but violence)

yo chillermiller89, …
yo chillermiller89, you idiot, it’s not the government’s responsibility to care for those who are “weak.” All men are created equal. People struggle, people survive. I’m POSITIVE many more people are suffering in other countries around the globe. America is one of the greatest countries in the world, the government isn’t responsible for every citizen’s well-being here. Stop trying to get Obama to spoon-feed you, he’s going to make all of America broke as with all these tax-increases.

there is no free …
there is no free market for operations and the one thing the pharmaindustry is not interested in is lowering prices… i mean this has nothing to do with the free market really. we’re not talking about stock or whatsoever….
AND how did government involvment rising prices of medical supply? Explain please.
November 5th, 2009 at 3:35 am
With the free …
With the free market. It has lowered costs up until government got involved with the whole process, which skyrocketted the prices in the first place. But yea, nobody talks about that, no, just give them more power, let’s see if doing the same thing over and over and over has a different effect this time.

I don’t understand why this “turk” guy in the video is complaining, he’s the one who voted for Obama and also defends his life on him. My message to you, “hahahahahaha, you blind fool! I That’s what everyone gets voting for the “messiah.”

ok if you think public health care is stupid tell me how can one ensure that people with less money (but often BIGGER problems) can get proper health care???…
i think it the job of the state/government to care for those who are weak!

Now you need to get just as at the Dems. L8

November 5th, 2009 at 3:36 am
I try not to post …
I try not to post on these political videos. I am a regular american citizen who up until recently was one who trusted the government to do the right thing. “BUT” Cenk-why do you trust the democrats to do what’s best for us? All of these guys-it’s like the WWE. In front of the cameras Blah-Blah-Blah. That all changes as soon as the cameras are off. No matter what happens-the politicians and big business wins-”ALWAYS” Not us. I’m fed up with both sides. Of course they will run ads later….

Your precious Rs …
Your precious Rs proposed the fines as a compromise… pay attention, douche… No one is going to vote for this bill because the republicans took advantange of the bipartisan approach obama asked for. So in the end repub’s were not going to vote for it anyway and now the compromises demanded by the R’s is going to stop any dems from voting for it either. game over gg
November 5th, 2009 at 3:36 am
FUCK YOU>>>YOU DAM …
