Would have been …
Would have been better I think if K-9 played a more central role in Sarah Jane Adventures instead of that giant computer with the fanfare. Surely that computer prop has got to be more expensive than a K-9 prop.

A very 80’s style intro, according to the dvd production subtitles the “ice cubes” in sarahs drink were plastic.

Solid gold! It’s …
Solid gold! It’s like they had $5 to shoot an opening and only one location to use (a road). Let’s have her, um, drink by the road, run down it, and then drive down it, and then let’s show her drinking by it, running down it and driving down it again, but with faster cuts. Intercut that with some shots of her sitting on a wall by the road aaaaand FIN.

Why do they keep …
Why do they keep repeating the shot of her drinking. Was she playing an alcoholic in this show? Love the extreme close-ups. Man, if Doctor Who had an intro like this, it wouldn’t have gotten past 1963. K-9!!

Note our female …
Note our female protagonist’s gripping action on display here like reading a newspaper then looking into the distance, typing and drinking wine then looking into the distance, sitting on a rock wall and looking into the distance, driving and jogging into the distance, then leaning against her car and looking…yeah.

The vision is absolutely terrible but the actual music is really great even if it is really eighties. Sarah looks like she’s been on the plonk a bit too much.
