I resoundingly support Bush, the oil companies, and their relentless pursuit of profit at the expense of a few worthless bears. But I have to admit that the extinction of the polar bears and the lower gas prices is just a nice bonus.

drilling for oil or …
drilling for oil or obtaining resources & wildlife are not mutually exclusive ideas. the caribous where said to be threatened by the coming of the transalaska pipeline but this has been proven to not be the case as they actually thrive even more becasue of it. but of course who am I to go around confusing reality with the issues & hand this would tend to make way too much sense & stop the unessesary arguing over something that is not happening nor is going to.

to be honest i think if america could get there hands on an oil field, it wouldnt matter if they were polar bears, whales, pink elephants or harmless orphaned children….theyd go in there and push them out / kill / “help” them in a manner that would allow global dominance. but if we all use so much of the they produce, we cant really be so hypocritical as to say save the bears with one breath and low oil prices with another.aslong as they dnt it right up, it might just b ok
