Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Limited Edition features six special gameplay unlocks that give players a tactical advantage in multiplayer matches from the minute they fire up the game. Sold at the same price as the standard version of the game, the Limited Edition delivers extra firepower, radar and armor for the vehicles. Additionally, the tracer dart attaches to any enemy vehicle and allows RPG-toting teammates to track, lock-on and destroy their target. And seasoned veterans of Battlefield 1943 will be able to immediately re-acquaint themselves with two classic weapons – the M1A1 submachine gun and M1911 pistol. Four vehicle warfare unlocks in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Limited Edition:
* Improved Vehicle Armor – An up-armor package is mounted on all vehicle types, decreasing the effect of both explosive and penetrating warheads, significantly improving vehicle survivability.
* Supreme Vehicle Firepower – Additional weapon packages are mounted for the driver of all armored vehicles, greatly expanding the range of targets the vehicle can successfully engage and destroy.
* Vehicle Motion Sensor – Use this electronics warfare package to locate enemy units in direct proximity to the vehicle.
* Tracer Dart Pistol – This magnetic dart attaches to any vehicle surface, allowing squad members to track, lock on, and fire rockets onto moving targets even beyond line of sight.

Nigeria’s lucrative oil reserves may have enriched its politicians but they’ve brought little but misery to ordinary people. Now, a rebel group is fighting for a share of the profits. “I need help. I need help,” begs a woman, clutching her young children in despair. Her home has just been demolished to create luxury housing for foreign oil workers. “The oil boom has turned into the oil doom!” laments Pastor Lekia. Across the Niger Delta, there’s growing resentment at the oil industry. “Corruption pervades the whole place, starting with the way contracts are awarded,” complains lawyer Ledum Mittee. “There seems to be some sort of collusion between the oil companies and those in power.” But militia leader Asari Dokubo has vowed to sever that link. He’s fighting to seize control of the oil and give it back to the people. “We own the oil!” he proclaims. “The thieves are the people in Abuja.” And across Nigeria, young men are flocking to his call. Last September, he spooked the international markets and forced the price of oil to $50 a barrel by threatening to attack foreign oil companies. The government was forced to agree a truce but he’s threatened to rearm unless oil companies leave. Nigerians no longer expect help from their own government. It’s militia leaders like Asari who are winning their trust.

The Crazy Cats: The Mission (Part 1)

From 1967 to 1972 the Crazy Cats fought upon the electronic battlefields of Vietnam. Their efforts would ultimately affect the outcome of battles on the ground and, perhaps, the outcome of the war itself.

Designated the 1st Army Security Agency (ASA) Company, like other ASA units in Vietnam, it operated under a ‘Radio Research’ cover designation. The men of the 1st Radio Research Company, however, adopted a more colorful nom de guerre: “The CRAZY CATS.”

Their Top Secret missions operated from the Naval Air Facility at Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam. Their crew of 12 to 15 flew aging Navy P-2E Neptune aircraft over the Ho Chi Minh Trail and other areas to intercept, decipher, translate, analyze and disseminate enemy radio communications intelligence (COMINT).

In this role, the Crazy Cats became the Army’s most prolific airborne COMINT collector in the Vietnam War.

Ambush: Halo-Stylized Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Trailer (Machinima)

This is a Halo version of the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Squad Stories trailer. It is extremely well done and executed.

The Halo 3 Machinima entitled “Ambush”, produced by LostMachinima. The quality is great, the sound effects are well synced, and the camera/editing are spectacular. Overall, this is perhaps the most movie-like and enjoyable Halo Machinimas ever created.
