Apparently the computer froze and destroyed all film being processed. The photos were from 2 disposable cameras. All they say is "sorry and here’s a $50 voucher". Is that it? Am i able to do anything else?

you can sue them,
dont cash or use the voucher.

   Probably not. Usually the stated deal is that liability is limited to the replacement of any film lost.

   I am very sorry. I realize it is upsetting, and it happened to me years ago. But the answer is not a thing. When you dropped off the film, on the envelope, there is a disclaimer, that states something like we are not responsible for lost or damage, etc.
