Pocahontas – Virginia Company & Steady As The Beating Drum

April 142010

Hello everyone, this the first video in my new project, PROJECT POCAHONTAS, which is excactly the same as the last project I had, but it’s Pocahontas, and not The Little Mermaid. Well, anyway, this is Virginia Company AND Steady As The Beating Drum, the first songs in the movie. I mixed them together because they are approaching so close to each other, and they aren’t very long either, so this way you get 2 in 1 xP

Maybe I’m a dork but I love how historically accurate this song is. Consdering the real European settlers went to the New World for either fame, religious freedom, or riches. Glory, God, and Gold. ^^

I think BethGoth15 is on the right track, but it’s his sister, brother-in-law and niece. He seems closer to the girl than the guy.

I think thats Thomas’s Mom and Dad and little sister, you notice that he kisses the woman on the forehead and not the lips.

    I just assumed it …
I just assumed it was Thomas’ mother, father, and baby sister he was saying goodbye to. Back then, young teenagers often signed up for these long voyages in search of adventures, and I think Thomas was based on them.

Hey, this is an interesting subject. Who do you think Thomas is saying goodbye to? I’ve always liked to think it’s his brother, sister-in-law and niece. I also like to think that Thomas is an orphan and wants to honour his father’s memory by setting off to the New World. Yeah, I have a wild imagination lol :D
